You have a few options when it comes to your meat patties.
Homemade Instant Pot Hamburger Patties
You can start with homemade patties. This is a great option because you know exactly what is going into your patties. The biggest tip is that you need to get mince with some fat in it as that fat is what gives your burgers amazing flavour.
The other great thing about making homemade patties is that you can make them as big or as small as you wish. Around here, 4oz patties or 6 oz patties are particular favourites. The patties in this recipe are simply made with:
- lean ground beef
- salt
- pepper
For shaping the burgers, you can either use your hands or grab one of those handy burger presses. Make life so much easier.
